Hi Everyone!
I took this weekend off. Something I don't normally do EVER! I didn't clean house, ( my house is clean freak clean anyway) I didn't cook, I didn't go on line, I just vegged out watched movies, and worked on some art pieces. I guess I needed it. Today will be business a normal. LOL
What did you do or didn't do this past weekend?
I am sure you all remember the Brusho piece I created last week,
well here it is finished.
I found this delightful looking fellow on line and
thought I would attempt to draw him. Yikes!
We'll see how he turns out. At least he is bald. ha ha
Well that is it for now. Wishing all of you a very happy Monday.

Love the painting and that face will be such a fun one to draw. It is coming along nicely. Faces are something I really need to practice with. I had a busy "social weekend". We got our Christmas tree and I took a hike with a couple of friends. Hopefully we were covid safe. I didn't do much in art or being online until last night. It was a good get away from the routine anyhow. Thanks for the inspiration this month Nicole, and see you online in the future.
Your completed artwork looks great Nicole, a very atmospheric sky.
I love that cheeky fella! He looks a bit gruesome so far, like a Bond villain. Lol! Great proportions though.
I'm glad to hear you had a relaxing weekend. We all need that from time to time.
Have a great week,
Alison xx
What a great way to end the month of November, Nicole. That is a wonderful abstract art piece. And your little man will be fun to watch as he progresses, too.
There was something wrong with the linky today. When I went to leave my link, I realized it was already filled in with another group. That's why I continued the link so we all had a way to show our final art/whatever post.
Nicole,
The old guy sure has a lot of character. I can't wait to see your finished work. It's looking great so far! Have a good week, dearie!!
...dramatic storm clouds.
I don’t see an abstract painting. To me it’s a definite landscape with a spooky sky. Could it be the “upside down”?
I love it!
It is a landscape. However, I am love to hear how others see the art.
That man looks happy. It'll be fun to spend some time with him :)
It seems like your landscape is on fire. It is both beautiful and scary at the same time.
That fellow really looks sweet. :) Will be nice to see it finished.
Thanks for AEDM november. :)
sometimes you just need to take a break from everything 😀 lol I can't remember what I did on the weekend
It sounds like you had a perfectly blissful weekend! I need that myself every now and then.
Your Brusho piece turned out beautiful! Oh gosh, you made me laugh out loud with your comment about your portrait subject being bald...which was obviously relevant to your recent frustration with drawing hair. haha I'll look forward to seeing him finished.
P.S. - I've added your blog to my side-bar too so I can stay in touch. :)
I vegged out today! LOL! I love that first painting! I love the sky! That old man is so cute! Can't wait to see your sketch! Big Hugs!
