Hi Everyone!
Today is T Tuesday with Bluebeard and Elizabeth. My T stands for slow working painting. LOL
I showed this last Friday for PPF as a WIP. well it is still a WIP. Up until about 5 minutes ago I had no idea where I was going with this. Then the proverbial light went off in my brain and now
I know how I am going to finish this.

It's subtle but you can click on the pictures to get a closer look.
Tomorrow there will be some color to this piece.
Last week Mr. M. built a new shelf for me. It's just a simple self. Mr. M. use to have a nice wood working shop and did some pretty fine work. Since, the biatch, drunk and drugged woman ran the red and hit Mr. M. he can't do as much as he use to. So this simple shelf, that in the old days would taken him a few hours to make, now took a week to make. So, I love this shelf, I love that with all of his pain and lack of body movement he made this for me. I painted it and this weekend
I will put some contact paper to it.
I mentioned that I had to cut down the corn that started to grow from some grass seed we planted in the yard. In no time at all it got taller than M. Mr. who is 6'3" tall. This morning I took my saw out back and WOW 2 of 3 motions with the saw and they were down. I had no idea that corn is kind of pithy. Maybe next year I will get some good corn to grow.
This is red root disease
Down and out
To make me feel better from cutting down the corn. I make an apple, banana, cucumber and squash smoothie. The frozen banana's make it frothy. I can't tell you how good this is.
P.S. the new blogger sucks! LOL

Sounds like a good day all in all. Well done to Mr M for making that wonderful shelving, it looks great. Can you send him over? Your painting looks wonderful. Enjoy your smoothies, I'm just drinking coffee - again! Happy T day, Valerie
I have never tried to grow corn so who knew about red root disease. That is so frustrating. I understand totally why you needed cheering up. You put in work and wonder for what? Nice shelves too, but too bad about your husband's results from an unnecessary car accident. And that is quite the smoothie. I found the addition of cucumber interesting with the other fruits. Show us your finished painting. Please. Have a great T day. Hugs-Erika
Your painting is awesome! I love the effective way you portrayed the distant mountains. This is simply beautiful, and I look forward to color! Mine in progress is not nearly as pretty, or pretty at all, but I think you especially might relate to it. Lol.
Love the shelf! So sad when we have to cut down plants finally, without getting the chance to harvest something.
Power drink is always good and you might be lucky with it next year.
It's raining now and I've started painting something new.
Greetings Elke
The shelf looks really useful. It's nice to have enough space for the things we need and want to keep or display.

Boa tarde obrigado pela visita e parabéns pelo seu excelente trabalho.
Nice shelf! I can imagine you already know what's going on it :)
I agree, new blogger sucks. I've reverted. If they take away the option of old blogger and don't fix what I don't like about new blogger I'll move to Wordpress.
Happy T Tuesday
The painting is gorgeous. I love the stark look of the mountains.
What a tragic story. Mr. M. did a great job on he shelving.
Your smoothie looks and sounds delicious.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
That's an incredible shelf, Nicole. Your husband, even with his pain made a beautiful shelf.
That smoothie looks good. I haven't had one in years because I no longer have a blender I can use for food. Thanks for sharing your corn cutting, your new shelf, and your smoothie with us for T this Tuesday.
I'm trying to create as many posts as possible in the old blogger, because I don't ever want to leave Legacy blogger.
What a beautiful painting! And your smoothie looks delicious.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Love your art, reminds me of our Outback-trips in Australia (now that could carry me away, LOL).
A special shelf indeed.
Good I froze a banana, will try that, too.
Oh, and pretty please... pics? Of your 70´s hair? I really did love the 70´s. My Dad looked like Woody Allen, but sadly we all have very thin hair, I wasn´t even allowed long hair.
San Francisco must´ve been wonderful back then, I certainly only know the clichés...
Belated Happy T-day!
Mr M made a great job of those shelves in spite of his pain, and your painting is looking wonderful Nicole. That smoothie looks delicious too.
Hope you're having a good week,
Alison xx
Your paintings are gorgeous! I'm sorry to hear about Mr. M's mobility problems due to that horrible sounding accident. The shelf looks great. Your smoothie looks delicious.
And I agree, the new blogger sucks!
Happy Belated T-Day!
I look forward to seeing how you finish your painting, it looks great so far. The shelf unit looks fantastic as well.
Belated T day wishes and I hope you have a good rest of the week.
Yvonne xx
