Hi Everyone!
Thursday Art Date with Rain is Summer Plans. With covid all of our plans are at home.
First, the front porch needs to be scrubbed. It is so wet here moss gross in every nook and cranny. Guess I should have taken a photo of the actual porch. LOL This is early AM I love how the sun is just peeking over my roof line.
All of this mess needs to be trimmed.
As does the big tree. Right now it is blooming and OMG! the pollen!
As soon as I can find some soil in my town all of these need to be potted and taken out side.
Another thing I will do this summer is master painting clouds. LOL
I started this last night so no details. I know some artists say make all clouds while paint is wet.
However, I am trying any way I can.
As a side note, I have my first bloom on my string beans. I am so excited about gardening.
I don't know why I didn't "get it" before.
Please either join in or take a look at all the wonderful people who participate with Rain.

I also love learning clouds! Yours are perfect. I have never “gotten” gardening either. Not sure there’s hope for me since time is marching on! I do enjoy having a few plants in pots though. You have a pretty “gingerbready” house. Moss, be gone!
Barbara, my house was built in 1905. Remodeled many times. My land lords ex wife wanted to make the outside look Folk Victorian. She wanted to paint the house with 5 different colors. I was opposed. So she picked the two colors that Mr.M and my land lord didn't want. All I wanted was a red door and she didn't. My LL went with my color. LOL Seriously the inside of the house is very modern. High ceiling with lots of angles. It is a very cool house.
Sounds like you have a lot planned for your summer. I am impressed by all the work you plan to do, yet will still find time to garden, too. You have some beautiful (painting) and labor intensive summer plans, dear Nicole.
Staying homw is a good idea, great time to get things done!
You've certainly got some good plans for over the summer …
I enjoyed seeing your photographs.
All the best Jan
I was just out sitting on my balcony this afternoon and watching the fat fluffy clouds roll by, thinking how they might best be captured in watercolours. But did I actually do any art? Of course not, lol.
Beautiful house and colors!!
We hopefully will get rain, too. Was way too dry for way too long - wherre do I find the rain people?
Seems you have work to keep you busy most of the season. It is a beautiful little house you live in. And with a gorgeous color. So nice to see how you live. :)
Since I was a child, summer was when school was out, which meant it was a time for fun and relaxation. Too bad we all have to grow up and find out how much work there is to do when weather is permitting :( Love that you are getting some painting done in your summer months. Are you self teaching or do you have someone guiding you through the painting of clouds? Your bean plant looks pretty hardy ... I think gardening is in your future. Wonderful post, Nicole ... stay safe and stay well.

There you have enough to do at home and clean everything and plant the plants in the garden. Painting your clouds in the picture, The house is so pretty!
I wish you all the best and stay healthy, hugs elke
Hi Nicole :) Your summer plans sound fine to me! :) I love doing things around the house, though I'm not much into cleaning porches lol...your house is so adorable! Congratulations on the string beans!!! :) For the last 4 summers, all of my veggies were in pots in the backyard because I was renting too. I was able to grow pretty much anything in containers, good luck with yours! I think it's a fabulous idea to learn how to paint clouds! Yours look a little ominous right now, but I love skies like that!
