TAD with Rain and PPF

Hi Everyone!

Today is Thursday Art Date with Rain. Every week she has a prompt for the art and this week is "Signs of Spring."  Spring is really no different here than winter with the exception that the temps go from the 30's to the 50's. It is windy and rainy  most of the year here. Oh, the wind never stops! That is a constant year round. NO, I do not like it.  It is what it is though.
Spring in my mind is just a bit of rain, flowers blooming and the newness of life.
This morning it did stop raining and I was able to get these shots of my Hosta plants.
Each year they they come back more beautiful than the year before.

Hostas are suppose to like the shade but these love the sun. This is 2 weeks of coming back.

The rain drops just hang onto the leaf.

I love how the trail of drops, even on a slant stay in place.

Creating spring with leather flowers.

Close up of leather. Some of them are painted too.

Leather flowers are time consuming but worth it.

What is spring without a bit of fantasy?

More fantasy. I would like to go into that cave.

Abstract flowers.

More abstract flowers

I am also joining in with my friends at Paint Party Friday.
Thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting.
I hope where you are the sun is shinning and the fragrance of spring is in the air.

Beautiful art and hosta.
We have 2 seasons here🇹🇹 Dry and Rainy, however but the April blossoming of Pohi trees coincides with the Season of Spring in the northern hemisphere

Happy Thursday Nicole

I would love to explore that cave too ~ Maybe we would find a waterfall?! Great Hosta shots too, what fantastic plants they are..they just pop up out of the ground and grow so fast don't they?!. Blessings to you ~

You have put together some incredible art today, Nicole. I have a friend or three in Seattle (and the Seattle area) and they warned me it rains all the time there. I spent FIVE days there one year and it never rained once. Seriously. On my way out of town, heading home, it started to sprinkle. I really lucked out, I guess.

I love your hostas. They are different from the ones I have. But your leather flowers are the pick of the day for me. I love them. I can see why they would take forever to create. Great TAD choices, dear.

I love all of it in different ways. Your plant are filled with raindrops. Have you ever looked at them with a magnifier? Quite cool. :) I always love your leather art and today is no different. And of course, the trees. Both of us love trees. :)
Take care, stay safe.

Hi Nicole :) I love your leather flowers!!! And your paintings are so pretty, I especially love your cave/forest piece. I'd go in there too :) Your abstract flowers are gorgeous. I'd love to plant hostas all over the backyard, in fact, that's on the wish list. I love those plants. Oh, it's always windy here too, at first it was quite annoying but I'm learning to be grateful for it because it blows the black flies and mosquitoes off of me lol! :)
