Thursday Art Date & PPF

Hi Everyone!

Well it has been a long week with me out of town most of it. Monday a very long day in Coos Bay getting the car it's big tune up. Tuesday, in Eugene getting an hour long MRI. I have had hundreds so I am use to them and actually fall asleep during the ordeal. No, I have not heard from the dr on the results. Wednesday, blood work and today pharmacy and groceries. I just want a day in so I can create. Ohhh it sounds like all I do is go to the doctor. I promise if I didn't have this eye thing going on I don't usually go. Soooo.... What to show for art. These are very old pieces and some of you I am sure have seen them before.
I am linking these up with Paint Party Friday

My favorite piece I will never sell.

A time where I was learning noon light.

The front rocks are made with egg shells. A timely endeavor.

More moon light.

Just strange

These were commission pieces.

Mr Man sculpted leather

This was created for my family who passed.

I just loved the colors

Thinking of AK.

For Thursday Art Date with Rain the prompt is Chinese New Year.
Again no art but I find this interesting.

For the year 2020, the main zodiac element is metal, and the animal sign is Rat, and hence, 2020 will be the Year of the Metal Rat. The Chinese year will last from January 25, 2020 to February 11, 2021.

Have a great weekend everyone!

LOvely art, the moon light ones are my faves. Yes, it's time consuming with doctor's visits, I have enough of them here, too. Love those metal rats. Have a fun day, Valerie

Oh wow, Nicole! Your art is absolutely amazing. I LOVE your moonlit paintings and the eggshells are something else - you must be VERY patient. But everything you do is wonderful. I especially love the ones you made to remember your family - and I kinda like the 'weird' (your word, not mine) one. It's so striking, even if it is in a creepy kind of way, lol! The trees look like hands and you've done such a fab job of catching the light. The leather work is awesome, too. Definitely a feast for sore eyes :-)

Nicole,

I sending positive vibes and prayers for good results from your MRI. There are times when I will stack annual appointments close together and it feels that I'm just stick in doctors' office forever. At least I try to do these things all at once to get it out of the way for the year and then I breathe easier. :) Your paintings are absolutely amazing. I love them all but the moon light on the water is gorgeous! Thanks for visiting today, my dear!

Your moonlight pieces are so gorgeous! It can definitely be frustrating when we have other things taking over our art time, I hope you get yours back soon and that things improve. What fun metal rats, thank you for sharing them too!

I apologize for being so late visiting. I would have been here sooner, but I was so ill I didn’t even want to get out of bed, much less be on the computer. I am in love with your incredible paintings. They are stunning. I love, love the ones with the moon. Of course, I adore the STRANGE one. I like the trees and the swing. I really like the bird that reminds me of a vulture. Wonderful way to share Chinese New Year, too. Hope you get good news on the eye front, soon, dear.

Dear Nicole I am so saddened to read all that has gone on with your eyesight, after the past months of knowing you through blogger and PPF must be near 18 months now I feel I need to say sorry for not being here as often as I should.
Your artwork is amazing and your moonlight work is truly beautiful, I must say the noon lite has to be a favourite for me as I love how the light has captured the colour of nature as it absorbs and transcends across the landscape.
You've embraced Chinese new year with great detail it must be seen as a strong year for those that celebrate. Wishing you all the best and keep strong yourself, your ARE amazing!! Sending creative hugs your way Tracey xx

Hi Nicole :) Oh what a week for you! Sounds exhausting...I hope you find some creative time, sounds like your soul needs it. I'm not a big fan of the doctor either, in fact I avoid going at all costs, unless I feel like I can't heal myself. Of course, your eye is a different story and I really hope you get some help.

The artwork...I LOVE ALL OF THEM...but the second moon light painting is divine! And I love your Fall Day and Lonely Night! I'm a tree fan! :) I also love the photos you posted for the metal rats! I've never seen anything like that before! Very cool!!

You're bearing up so well with all your eye troubles and I dearly hope that you will be free of them before too much longer. We can all empathise. Take care and good healing wishes to you xx
