Hi Everyone!
Yesterday I went to my friend's house to help her with a new art project. While she was working on hers I sketched out some rocks. It really is amazing how paper can change your art. This was done on a very slick paper and found it very difficult to blend. I like paper with a bit more tooth. How about you? What kind of paper or canvas do you like working with?
Have a great day!

I like a bit rougher paper too, with more body to it. We've been working on various kinds of white, black and grey paper as well. I definitely prefer white paper.
Just Rocks are just fabulous! ;) I like paper with a bit of a tooth as well. Though I do have some charcoal paper that I find a little too grainy and I don't like the results, could be the brand though. I bought the cheapest one I could find to make sure I enjoyed doing it before investing in more expensive stuff.
I'm not a drawing or sketch artist, so you are asking the wrong person about tooth. I like tooth for gluing my cut and pasted items in my altered books, but other than that, I'll take most any type of card stock I can find.
That being said, I LOVE those rocks. You can draw ANYWHERE, dear Nicole. And I love that.
Fabulous rocks. I always use what I have. Valerie
I paint different times on thick cardboard, drawing pad paper, but also with water color paper. I like to paint on everyone. It always comes out differently, of course, as you say with your stones! But that's the interesting thing!!!
I do like those rocks.
Enjoy your weekend, and my good wishes for the coming New Year.
All the best Jan
I like rougher paper too! Those rocks are so cool!
