Paint Party Friday

Hi Everyone!

Ohh my gosh it has been a busy week. I can hardly believe it is Thursday. One of my friends is moving to Australia and I am helping her with selling EVERYTHING. She has enough beads and art supplies to open a store. Well she did have a store at one time. It is amazing how many beads. As soon as I price a huge box of beads she brings out more. LOL It is fun to see all that she has. I envy her moving and hope she sells everything. For tonight thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting Paint Party Friday and to all the artists who show up and leave comments of encouragement. I really do love hearing what you have to say.
I only have leather work this week. The first piece is Lady in red. I made an armature and created a lady out of Apoxie Sculp. I made a stand for her and then the fun began. Leather leather and leather. I do love the way she turned out.

hmmm her face looks a bit creepy in this photo. LOL

Next is my blooming leather. This was so much fun to make.

Have a great weekend Everyone!

Wow the leather folds - stunning! Can see this as an editorial fashion piece and love the idea of "blooming" leather - very cool!

Wow, beautiful pieces this week Nicole. Lady in red is gorgeous, I like how she is peeping out from behind all those folds. And your blooming leather is so fun. Love all the colours. Oh, I envy your friend too, moving to Australia ... Have a great weekend! ♥

It's sounds like a busy week indeed. So nice of you to help out your friend. I don't know how you had time to make these two lovely pieces. Both look like it took a great deal of time.

You're a great friend Nicole. ..beautiful leather work. Freeing to get rid of things no longer useful! I bet you were tempted!

Such a strong and mysterious woman! Perhaps the leader of some kind of tribal council or ruler of a faraway land. Very regal!

Australia...I'd love to visit Sydney again! But it's going to be autumn soon in Australia, so I rather stay in Finland where spring smiling and summer is waiting it's turn...:)
