AEDM

Hi Everyone!

I am so busy this month that I truly am wondering why I committed to AEDM. With that said, this challenge has made me rethink some of my priorities. A very dear friend of mine has been away from blogging, FB, and other social media for several months now. When I asked her why she said, "I didn't have time to create". That is exactly how I felt yesterday, when it was 3 in the afternoon and I hadn't even started a any kind of art for AEDM and I had a date for the evening.
(Yes with DH)  So I am reorganizing my time a bit  so I can create more.  Now that you have read my excuses you know I am not happy with this drawing. I drew it so fast my pencils thought I was "quick draw" LOL Even though I am a novice at this I know when it is not quite right.
Be kind when you comment. :)
Thank you Leah for hosting Art Every Day Month

Lovely work! I take time to create everyday, but don't like to commit to challenges like AEDM, because when I feel I MUST do something, I don't enjoy it. Apart from that, I keep house***k to a minimum, which also gives me more time. Hugs, Valerie

Hi Nicole
You asked where my photograph was taken, it is a field very close to my house.
It was a lovely cool misty morning and I couldn't keep my hand still, so it's all a bit out of focus.

I like this strong face you have drawn. She looks both thoughtful and shy.

I agree, you need time to create! You have to set your time right! Many of times, I shut everything down, just to paint!!! I have to!! I love your face! I love her eye! Hugs!

If I could draw that well, I'd be over the moon with joy. This is totally AWESOME.

I would have been here sooner, but my computer had a major meltdown and I was offline most of the day, something unusual for me during AEDM. See you tomorrow!

I've been reading your posts with these faces. You are pretty darned good at this type of art.

I limit my social media time. Read what I can during the early morning hours then I am done for the day. I may take a moment or two to read FB if I stop for a cup of coffee, but I know I miss (or not) a lot of things others are posting but then, I'm not that in to FB. I hate missing blog posts though. Have a great weekend. Don't neglect soul by spreading your "me" time too thin.
xx, Carol

It's strange how time works. I'm on leave this week and seem to have less time than normal!
I just wish i could draw faces as well as that.

I think it is a good one. If I should try ot it would take me a week to finish :)

And, you don´t have to create new art every day. When you are busy you can use some older artwork. You probably have a lot to choose from :)
