TRICK TO DRAWING THE HUMAN EAR

Hi Everyone!

  I have had a lot of requests on my trick for drawing an ear.  Now, most of you know I am quite the novice, so this is  a trick that works for my dyslexic brain. lol  NOTE as I stated in a previous post this is NOT my idea I found this on line.

The thing to remember is there are variations to each ear, however the basics are these.  If you look at the human ear the entire outside line  is a big cursive letter capital C with a smaller C just inside to form the base of the ear.  Inside the ear is a small letter y. For the hole of the ear is another letter C with a hook and a bump on it.  Once I saw where the lines go I started looking at human ears. Every ear is like that no matter the shape or size. 

 Once you have these then it is all a matter of shading.  I hope this helps you as much as it helped me.
