Hi Everyone!
Well here she is. An old lady with wrinkles. OMG!!! This was really difficult. I will have to do some more practicing on wrinkles. It is the shading and direction that messes me up. However, I did have a photo of a woman with a million lines and wrinkles on her face. LOL Don't criticize me to harshly, but if you have any suggestions will take them. Hmm maybe less is more?

you did a good job with her :) wrinkles are more about soft shading then hard lines, they can be very tricky to draw because you eye think lines, but the best way is just with shading. I think you did a good job with them tho, less can be more but some just have a lot of wrinkles and a drawing wouldn't look like them with the wrinkles. I find it can help to practice with charcoal, messy but helps create the shading for wrinkles very well ):
N: good work on the elder lady.......she looks authentic and that is what matters with us wrinkled up old husks. LOL. I always look at the ladies with just tons of wrinkles and wonder why they didn't at least dip into the Crisco for their faces. Donna
I think she's wonderful. She reminds me a bit of a relative that I dearly love. Thank you for her today!
You are drawing a fine old face. I like a lot.
How wonderful! I may try a wrinkled face myself, inspired by your sweet old lady drawing.
I love your works. This face is just beautiful! Hope one day I can draw on this level like you!
Wow, a really good face! You really got the wrinkles right, and the neck/throat area is perfect... :-)
WOW!! Great job Nicole!!!
