PAINT PARTY FRIDAY 29 FACES FEB. 19

Hi Everyone!

This week has been hectic with a good amount of stress. Trying to keep everything under control and meditating. So not much art has been created with the exception of  quick-draw faces.  I do however have a piece I finished a few weeks ago. I had posted it in Dec. as a WIP and well I guess it is finished.

Here is the WIP. I didn't realize how dark the photo is.
Here is the finished piece, or at least so far.

Wow that is a great face with so much expression; love the furrowed brow:)

For the WIP I thought how alone this single figure in the fog was. Now it is much better with some company. Happy PPF!

Isn't it strange how a piece transfers during the making. In the WIP I see a pond and mountains in the background, the "finished" piece shows something completely different. It's always interesting to see such changes, I think. Thanks for sharing.

I like the soft colors too.
29 faces is hard work, I've done 15 so far...

Wonderful work. Really like the first one. There is a hint of mystery about it.

this is a very intriguing piece with the dead trees and the shadowy figures - makes the viewer curious as to where they are and what is happening.

It is beautiful, and even though it is a bit dark, it is not spooky or a bad dark. I love the feeling in energy in your piece. Have a great weekend.

That WIP touched me, I see a destroyed village, a lost home, trees still burning. Sorrow, pain. Well, that's my interpretation... ;)

Your sketch shows a handsome man.

Your WIP has a dreamy quality. Hope all improves for you soon. All is well with me--just not on the computer as much as usual.

Your first image is very mysterious--a bit spooky and lovely at the same time. Something about it reminds me of Ireland. Have a wonderful week! xo

I LOVE the painting with the 3 silhouettes. For some reason, I imagine it's a parent having a loving conversation with his/her children during a walk in the forest. Blessings, my friend!

I love the first paintings of the trunks. I have an area similar to that outside town. I use to take photos of it when it is misty. Gives a nice atmosphere
