29 FACES PAINT PARTY FRIDAY

Hi Everyone,

Here it is day 11 for 29 Faces. I have finished my leather sculpt and thought this would be a good place to show it. First a thank you to Ayala Art for hosting 29 faces. In addition I am linking up with Eva and Kristen for Paint Party Friday. Thank you ladies.  Who would ever have thought that a thing called the internet would bring so many talented people together. Sooo here are the  photos. First if you missed how to make the bubbles on canvas click on here.

Molded leather on 16x20" gallery canvas. Acrylic airbrush paints, marbled gold leaf, bubble textured.
Just a note there is nothing behind the face. The 3-D leather stands on it's own.

Close up of bubble texture

Display of only three of my molded leather face pieces.

What an interesting texture...don't think I've ever seen anything like this bubble technique. It came out really well in the end Nicole.
