CHANGING WEATHER

Hi Everyone!

The weather is starting to change here. The nights are cold and the roar of the ocean is louder. I don't know if there is a true correlation with that but it seems to be and by the time we are full into winter the sea is more angry and roaring. You would think that living at the beach I would have more photos. To tell the truth we never go to the beach. Most of the locals don't. It is too cold and windy, even in the summer. I WAS looking for some beach photos and can't find them. But I did come across this one of me and my daughter at the beach, nice bathing suits huh? LOL
It was freezing that day.
Wishing all of you a very nice day

Lovely photo. I grew up in England and beach outfits there were raincoats, hats, scarves and rubber boots! Hugs, Valerie

What a beautiful image. I live too far from the coast to hear the ocean, but I love the sound of it. The place you live looks amazing.

I grew up on Lake Michigan and have never actually seen an ocean. Living at the ocean and watching the water would be so relaxing to me. I have no desire to go to the beach at my age now, but I love the water and being near it. I have to be satisfied with our pond and the St. Joseph River bay at the end of my road..

I love being near the lake, but I must admit I hardly ever went to the beach except when our daughter was small. When it is frozen, we can hear it roar through the closed windows at night. Sounds just like a bear! It is caused by shifting or air pockets since they drain the lake low in Winter to prevent floods in the Spring.
