Hi Everyone!
What a busy week. Still caring for my mom and making sure things are right with her.
I don't know if I told all of you that I will be a great grandma in May. Eva Marie will be here on or around May 20. I mention this to tell you that today while I was making baby clothes I sewed my finger. OMGGGGGG!!!! It happened so fast. All I saw was a chunk of my finger flying off into space and then blood. I grabbed a tissue wrapped the finger, raised my arm over my head and as fast as I could got down the stairs. Have any of you done this? My first time in all the years of sewing and I NEVER want to do it again. LOL
With that said I had a very nice email today from my friend and art extraordinaire Lynn Lindley. This is one of her paintings that just recently won a third place ribbon. Congratulations Lynn
Lynn also creates amazing beadwork too. Stop by her blog she is such a nice lady.
Thanks for sharing your art with us Lynn

Congrats on soon being a great grandma, that's wonderful news. But sooooooooo sorry about your finger, sounds bad. I have never sewn mine, but I have often had nasty cuts while chopping the veggies....Hope it soon feels better. The painting by Lynn is beautiful! Take care, Valerie
Hi Nicole. Oh my goodness! So sorry about your finger. My goodness that must have hurt! Hope it gets better soon. Yikes! Lynn's painting is awesome. She's quite a painter
Sorry Nicole. My iPad keys get stuck. I just wanted to say, get better soon. I'm wearing my bracelet you sent tomorrow. I love it. Take care.
Thank you, Nicole! You are so sweet and generous with your praise, and I really appreciate it very much. And thank you Valerie-Jael, and MeOfCourse, too, for your kind compliments.
Oh my goodness! I hope your finger is okay!! Very good of you to take such great care of your mother. I love the painting by your friend, so beautiful!
Is your finger alright??? OMG!!! Give big hugs to your mom! I hope she is doing well ;o) Great Grandma??? Wow! So exciting! Congrats ;o) The painting is stunning! So beautiful! Big Hugs ;o)
OMG! Double OMG! Are you alright? And what great news about being a great-grandmother!
Congratulations, what exciting news. But I am sorry to hear about your finger. I can picture myself doing the same thing. I must slow down. Thank you for your comments on my blog. Unexpectedly the book brought up memories from so long ago. Funny thing, it seemed like yesterday when I wrote it down. My best to you in the care of your mother. I took care of my mother and know that while it has its rewards, it is not easy on the caregiver.
