FLATWORK IN EPIC INDIE BOOK FAIR

Hi Everyone!

Sarah, from Saturday Sequins , holds this amazing book fair that features self publishers, as myself, who have written creative, inspirational, and exquisite books. I started self publishing in the mid 1980's. My first books were very unique cook books. I will tell you that story some day. In the early 1990's I was approached by two different publishing companies to write bead instructional books. After going over the contracts with lengthy discussions, I decided I would write, print, cut, bind and sell my own books, patterns and tutorials. So when Sarah first asked me to join her book fair I was all in.  Not only to have my "FlatWork" book featured but to be able to see
all the other authors Sarah has included.

Here is the book review on "FlatWork" by Joanna Tiritilli  in Bead Unique Magazine.

Feed your creative bead spirit! Nicole Campanella's new book takes you on a journey from traditional beaded flatwork to its modern-day applications. From the simple one-bead stitch to the inspirational world of stunning , textured flatwork, this author's expertise and love for traditional beaded artwork jumps right off each of the book's 72 pages. Learn the basic techniques first: single bead stitch, back stitch, stacking stitch, bead couching, and more. Then, 15 projects, complete with large and clear diagrams, will keep you in pure beading bliss. Create a Traditional-style Rosette Neckpiece, an applique' flower, a fancy Bolo Tie, a Cameo Brooch, a beaded Belt Buckle, and much more. Four galleries of beadwork featuring 15 different artists are sure to motivate you to try your hand at creating your own beaded art. Nicole wraps the book up with a five-page gallery of her own spectacular beadwork-a treat in its own right!

I added a surprise technique one of old. Traditional porcupine quill work.

And of course you receive a piece of Nicole's BeadBacking so you can create the projects.

Stop by Sarah's blog Saturday Sequins, and tell her Nicole sent you
