Hi Everyone!
This is a short post but wanted to share a piece just finished. This is my "textured" flatwork that you can find in my "FlatWork" beading book. It starts with Nicole's' BeadBacking "NBB" my sewing machine, the layers of beads from size 16/o up to Czech press beads. The cab is from Sandy Spivey. Once the beading is finished it is backed with leather, (not ultra suede) add a clasp and a signature and the piece is ready to sell.

Beautiful! I love the red leather -- it's absolutely gorgeous.
I was wondering, what kind of needle do you use to sew through leather? I have some beautiful leather scraps and would love to experiment with them. :)
