Paint Party Friday

Hi Everyone!
After so many weeks of beautiful sunny weather here on the Oregon Coast, Mother Nature decided to make up for it in the last few days. Howling wind and torrents of rain. This week I have been incredibly busy so my Paint Party Friday piece is a work in progress. This one doesn't have a title yet although several are swimming in my head. This is a 12x12 inch box canvas, acrylic paints, plaster molded face with variegated metal green Leaf. When she is finished there will be layers of textual dimensions created with beads and textiles. Hopefully she will be finished this weekend. Be sure to visit all of the other artists that have joined in for Paint Party Friday.

    A powerful WIP, Nicole! I can just feel the excitement here. I don't have a word or a resolution. If I had to dream one up fast, I'd probably come up with LIVE! At age 77, that's a great resolution and focus word. It could mean just keep on breathing, or it could mean get out of my comfort zone and do something different. A Happy New Year to you. Faye
