Hi Everyone!
Today I will be gone most of the day. I am teaching a private bead lesson to a lady who is so excited about discovering beads that she can hardly sit still. Hmmmm remember that?? I love teaching as much as I love creating so this will be a fun day for me.
What are you doing today?
What are you doing today?
I don't really have any new photos today and since I have been thinking of my time spent in Japan I thought I would share some of those photos with you. It was amazing sharing 4 days with the Yamanaka family. For those who don't know they are the founders and owners of Toho Beads. They are wonderful people who treated us like family. So here are a few Japan photos.
Making beads
We had a cooking class
The best beer I have ever had and with every meal.
The offices of Toho Beads
My rickshaw ride. This guy was so funny.
Lots more about my trip to Japan
These last two links are a must see
Have fun

What a lucky lady to get personal one-on-one with you! I am off to check other blogs and I am determined to do a piece of crazy quilting today. The best of all worlds...beading+needlework+quilting!!! Have an awesome weekend sweetie!
i do remember how i was so excited i could hardly sit still about beads! it was just today as a matter of fact. lol i have been doing beads in some way shape or form for several years now and still get so excited i can't stand it. you'll have fun on your lesson. especially with an enthusiastic student. i just have one question. how in the world are you supposed to use that toilet???!!! hugs to you.
Traveling back to japan with you today and enjoying it! Lisa, you squat over the toilet.
Great photos from your trip. How exciting Nicole. thanks for sharing and have fun teaching. Take care.
The traditional toilet is not so bad. You face the pipes, squat down and do your thing. Getting up is the hard part. The public facilities are spotlessly clean there.
