Hi Everyone!
Most of you know that Halloween is my favorite time of year. I do dress up and greet the kids with a big bowl of candy. I make the kids show off their costumes and get them to talk to me. I always speak to the parents who wait in the shadows as well. My house is decorated with scary spooky things and I love carving pumpkins. This year, the owners of Brown Dog Antiques and I are planning a Halloween party at the store. I will give more details on that later in the week. For now I need a kick ass Halloween costume. I was a witch two years ago, last year I was in the air flying home from Japan. So this year I need something to win a costume contest. Send me your best ideas. Oohhhh this sounds like a contest. If I use your Idea I will send you a Miss Skully cabochon. Wowow I love a spontaneous contest!!!! I am now going to change the title of this post from
Help me with my costume.... to ......Help me with my costume and win a prize.
Here is Miss Skully

Well, I just can't get past being a witch on Halloween. Its just so easy to make a costume with a black gauzy material dress and cape. You don't even need a hat. Plenty of make-up, ratted hair and spray then add a dash of color. Easy Peasy!!
Good Luck.

I think you have the inspiration already! Go as Miss Skully you know her so well and I think you could do her a kindness by sporting her look for Halloween!
Hugs
(I'm partial to the Vampire look--you know, black cape, white face, teeth, & blood dripping, but if you want kick ass...)go as the Queen of Hearts!
No ideas here but I wanted to say that your Miss Skulley is truly awesome! Love her, love your blog, too, am glad you came to visit :)
since you are loving the kids..depends on how old they are..don't want to scare them away..older kids love gross......a fairy "bead" princess....or a dying fairy princess-fake blood and a hatchet on your chest! a kitty,a bat,a pumpkin, a dart board, your favorite candy bar,a hobo,a mouse,or,as the others have suggested..a vampire,a witch! how about a scarecrow,Dorothy from Oz,a ballerina(that's easy!)...give me some time and I'll think up somemore...oh Bide of Frankenstein, the statue of Liberty.....a ghost......ummm,a flying pig,a deck of cards.....
:) Ann
How about a witch...but with a more sophisticated theme? A witch at the court of Henry VIII?
I wish that foot of yours would stop hurting! *hugs* (I'm officially back in SLE flare mode and have the test results to prove it...ugh...the roller coaster that is our lives ;o)
I think maybe a Cleopatra would be an awesome costume. Pretty easy to do I suppose. Perhaps maybe a Native American chick. Miss Skulley = Awesomeness!
