VINCE AND CALIFORNIA

Hi Everyone!
I don't want to be all sad and icky...... however, it is a sad situation here. My brother Vince is hanging on to dear life, literally. So blogging will not be as I thought it would be. I really just wanted to stop in(while Vince is sleeping) to say hi and to thank all of you for the wonderful comments. I have not had time to read emails so forgive me on that part. Tomorrow I will announce the winner of my birthday giveaway. My nephew is helping me.

Everyone have a great week.

My heart is breaking for you. I lost my mom 10 years ago and sometimes it still feels like yesterday. I am not going to try to tell you anything other that this, Say what you need to say, do what you need to do, and feel what you need to feel everything else is out of your hands. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

still praying for Vince and you, and your whole family. JD is never a good thing, it wastes away young people. One of my classmates died at the age of 36 leaving a wife and 2 kids. I knew his sister also, she said he never managed the Diabetes very well, and basically caused himself a lot of trouble (she also had JD) He had a kidney and heart transplant after being in the hospital for months, with infections. When they cleared and got the transplants, then his body rejected them...and that was it.

I kind of shake my head at the sister cause she picked on him for his eating, but yet she goes out and drinks (but adjusts her insulin to allow for it) not much better than the brother I think. I haven't heard from her in a few years, she and hubby split and she really became a bar hopper party girl, which isn't my scene. so...

I hope she is doing ok.

Vince is getting a lot of prayer time from this gal, and I am sure many others. Hang in there honey.
hugs,
Susan
