Living on the Oregon coast is not like living on any other coast in the US. It is dark, gloomy, wet, windy, and NO SUNSHINE!!!! Now you ask, why the heck do I live here. Haaa it was a mistake. LOL. We came to Oregon to be close to my mom. I really wish we had chosen a different town to reside in. It is so depressing here. Not just for me. Everyone I know goes through the same thing. So yesterday Mike and I took a ride just to get out of the house. These photos I took out the car window. Seeee it is like this most of the year.
Please someone send me some sunshine.

Wish I had some...but we got the same gloomy weather here in the Great Lakes...oh no, wait! We have SNOW
OK so you made me chuckle. Mike keeps telling me to be thankful we don't have snow!!!
Thanks for making me laugh.
Oh Nicole, I don't know what to say! I truly hope the weather isn't so miserable day after day :-/ We have an abundance of sunshine here in Perth, so I will send some your way ;-) Speaking of which, I have just emailed you some photos of our lovely State! I hope they brighten your day, my friend. B. -xo-
hi nicole...so I guess you don't want to hear that it was sunny in newport today?
oh i wish i could send you some!!! btw the weirdest thing, I had a dream about you last night and your super cool back garden (don't even know if you have one)and in the dream you told me it never snowed there... weird! :-)
What part of the Oregon Coast do you live in? My parents had property in Lincoln City since the 60's and have spent a lot of time there. I live in the sunshine now....Tucson, AZ. I love your blog. Your beadwork is fantastic.
I grew up in Oregon in the Willamete Valley. I have to agree with the gloom and rain being way to much there but the Oregon coast is still one of my favorite places! Thanks for sharing your pics and taking me "home" for a few minutes.
