THE ELEGANCE OF GEISHA

Here is an older blog post from 2009. My friend Charmain Pesnell won the Toho Challenge that year and invited me to go with her to Japan. A trip of a life time.

Hi Everyone!
Tonight I have some beautiful photos of just a few of the Geisha we saw in Kyoto. They are stunningly beautiful in person. The true history of this honorable and very respected profession is a history lesson that should be investigated. Much to daunting to tell on a blog. So enjoy the photos and if you have questions I will try to answer them for you.

Nicole,

Your photos are amazing! I am so glad for you that you had the chance to visit that country and have such a unique experience. :)

When you visited my blog the other day, you wrote: "Halloween is good any time of the year." Oh, so very true!!! :) I am really looking forward to Halloween, even though it's not that big in Germany.

Of course, I would also love to welcome you to my blog. Currently, I even have two giveaways. Details are on the left sidebar of my blog.

Greetings from sunny Munich,
Birgit
