Coral and Lava Beads

I have been told that I don't share as much as I should. Nooooo not with helping other bead artists with how-tos or technique assistance via email. It is with sharing my finished pieces. There are two reasons for this. The first is that a lot of my finished items are going to magazines for publication so those pieces can not be published on line. The other reason is that a good number of my bead jewelry and art are commissioned and sold before I have time to take a photo. With that being said I have been making pieces just for the blog and to show a bit of the different types of bead art I enjoy creating. Here is the first of many. I hope........ I was speaking to my good friend, Kelly Angeley, on the phone when I told her I thought coral and lava beads would make a rich piece. This is how it ended up. Hope you enjoy it.

Hey, Nicole!
Your coral and lava piece reminds me of a warm, homey, log fire warming the hearts (and toes) of loved ones sitting around and chatting (about beads, of course!). It's a great piece, and very original.
Love ya, Deon

I'm with you there Nicole. I too have had to sign contracts that say I won't put instructions on the internet for some of the dolls that I make for the magazines. know where you are coming from. But you made me consider that I should do something just for the web. Thanks for the idea. Also...LOVE those colors together.
