Hi Everyone!
I have been trying to keep very very busy today. My brother Vince has taken a turn for the worse. So when I say, "and the hits just keep on coming," I do mean hits. Vince had to have blood last night from anemia. Hmmmm he has been in hospital 15 days now. Yaaaa think the medical staff could have seen anemia???? In addition his kidney has failed. He is back on dialysis. I have spoken to him a few times today but he is heavily sedated. I am heart sick and feel so helpless.
So that is my day in a nutshell. I sure hope all of you are having a good day.

awww i am so sorry Miss Nicole...i know its hard but keep your faith hun...miracles do happen...you have a lot of friends saying, hoping,thinking and praying for him. the "helpless" feeling is the worse I think...at least for me...im a huge control freak! Sending you huge hugs...beth

Oh Nicole, I'm so sorry to hear this. Poor Vince has been through so much, it breaks my heart to hear what he is going through :-( I can't believe the hospital staff didn't pick up his anaemia sooner?! I can imagine your feeling of helplessness, it is hard to be away from Vince when he is unwell. You will see him soon enough, and that will lift his spirits immensely. Nicole, Gosh Sweetie I'm so sorry to you and to your family and for your brother. I wish there was something that I could do to help him. He's had my continued prayers, as well as you and your family also. I'm very sorry Nicole and pray that Vince gets well soon!

Nicole, I have been praying for your brother. I have a brother that lives 12 hours away and he too is having kidney problems. It concerns me so much and I find myself remembering your brother. Then I pray for them both. I pray he will be doing better soon.
