Hi Everyone!

Happy Paint Party Friday everyone. Wow it is the last party of the year. I am wishing all of us the very best 2017. Let us accept all the love and joy we can and then share it with others. Let us show peace and acceptance through our art. Speaking of art here is a huge thank you to Eva and Kristen who gives so much in hosting our Paint Party Friday. In addition  thank you to all the artists who have encouraged me, blessed me, and have befriended me through this last year. My your lives be filled with happiness, prosperity and most of all love.

Leather Sculpt cowhide with glass and shinny dicro lamb hide.

The glass hanging in the bowl is a chime when touched.

I recently took an online class where you are to let go and be free with brush and paint. I had this prepared canvas with molding paste texture. I use the line of the paste and went for it. I have had some very positive reactions with this and that surprised. Me. 

These are my sketches that I try to do everyday. Some are very fast quick draws. No this not Obama. LOL

I didn't quite capture the light and slight smile in this one.

 There is something about this lady that I love.

PANTONE GREENERY

Hi Everyone!

For 2017  Pantone has chosen the color "Greenery" I love this because green in any shade is my favorite color. For this I have brought in a temporary New Color for Nicole's BeadBacking. I call it Grass Green.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have missed PPF I have been very ill with a reaction to some Penicillin. It has been a tough few weeks. I am better now and had time to do a few drawings. I have some leather sculpts drying in the art room too.  A big thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting Paint Party Friday. 

A new year is coming and I am looking forward to it. Ya know hoping it will be better than the last few years.  With that I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas with love and joy.

PAINT PARTY FRIDAY DEC 8

Hi Everyone!

  I am running so late. It has been a beyond OMG busy day. Then I had a bead meeting and just now go home. We have so much fun at the meetings. Lots of laughter, sharing different arts, good food and no stress or pressure. Over the years some of us can no longer bead, or just want to do something different. So some bead, some crochet, some draw, and some like me color. It was the last meeting of the year and I won the bead jar. Yay.. What is a bead jar you ask? All year we put beads into a jar and then write our name on a slip of paper that goes into a bag. By Dec the jar is full. I won! I pulled a few things I thought I could use then spread it out on the table and gave the girls dibs on what they wanted. These women are the best people I have had in my life. Anyway with all the busy around here I did not have time to finish any art. So here are a few pieces of old art.  Big thanks to Kristen and Eva for hosting Paint Party Friday.
