TAD Ditches and Holes

Hi Everyone!

Well it has been a rough week. I had a medical procedure on Tuesday, 5 pieces of my stomach were take for biopsy. Ya know, they are little pieces. LOL
Everything went well but the last few days I feel like a mac truck has hit me. I am having a hard time recovering from the anastasia. I guess the older you get the more difficult it is to recover. I do feel better this AM.
OK enough of that

  1. I hope you get good results from the biopsies. Medical procedures are so stressful :(

  3. Sorry to hear you had a hard time, Nicole. The good news is that you already feel better. I hope you will recover soon completely, although, as you mentioned, the older you get the more difficult it is to recover.

    All the best,

    Giorgio

  7. Oh, hoping for good resulsts and that everything is fine with your stomach. Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog! I remember that beaded flower. I once attempted that pattern, too, but wasn't very successful, as the flower was very floppy. Yours looks great and I love the colors. Have a great day, my friend, and hope you feel better soon.

  8. Lovely hole and ditch thoughts, however I wish you all the best on those biopsies Nicole. The older we get we face more health challenges. My swollen ankle is painless but more pronounced in the evenings.

  9. I agree, age brings slower recovery. Be good to yourself and take it slowly!

  11. Sorry you even hard to have the biopsy. Just had one myself and I totally agree with you on the anesthesia--well, and just surgery in geenral is harder the older we get. Have another surgery on Monday and will proabably feel like crap for a week--LOL!
    Hang in there! *hugs*

  13. Oh, dear, hope all turns out well!
Yes, the older we get, the harder it goes. Back in the day I donated blood, hoped on the pushbike and went uphill. A couple of years ago... 2 weeks of being endlessly tired. I stopped donating...
    Beautiful art and fun presentation.
Mask and especially distance! Yesterday I was in one store where they put off the markings (hopefully to replace them with new ones) - the idiot behind be sat in my back until I told him off.

  15. Hey Nicole,

I hope you're feeling better today. I'm sorry your recovery from your recent procedure is slow. Is this first time you've had stomach biopsies done? Did you have colonoscopy? Sending good vibes and prayers your way, my dear. I'm trusting all is well. The beaded flower is pretty. Cars in a ditch isn't so pretty. Makes me think of DS who wound up in the ditch last December during a sneaky snowstorm which left our city unprepared and dangerous roads for drivers. Thankfully DS was okay. His car got messed up but he managed to beat the dings out. Take good care of yourself, my friend! Sending hugs and love to you!

  16. I hope you feel better soon, Nicole, and I hope the biopsy results are good. Your lacework is cheerful, and your hole and ditch images are fun, especially with the juxtaposition of pretty and ugly.

  17. I love your pretty holes and crazy ditches...one morning walking the dogs, I saw a car like that last photo just at the start of the blueberry trail. It was my neighbour's pot-smoking son's car and all I could do was roll my eyes. I hope you're feeling better Nicole!!♥

  19. Well, you captured the extremes we live in ... Pretty to ugly. Sadly there seems to be more ugly in our world today, so I especially appreciate your "Pretties". Nicely done Nicole ... and I hope you are feeling better soon. That sounds awful ... biopsy of the stomach. :( Be well, Nicole ...
