T Stands for it's my birthday

 Greetings!

Well today is my birthday, 69 and hating it. Mr. M. and my kids are kidding with me and making it funnnnner than it is.
I have always disliked getting older. Not the number as much as my body won't allow me to do the things I want to. Ohh, I forgot, that's what old age is. siggghhhhh.....
My brother told me to get some prevagen, ya know the stuff that helps your memory? I told him I would forget to take it. ha ha ha.
Mr. M. is taking me out for the day. He packed a picnic, made me the most loving card and even bake me a birthday cake last night. So what do I have to complain about? Ohhh yeah getting old. I guess if that all there is to complain about, then I am doing OK.  69 and I am still dancing.

Be sure to check out what is going on over at Elizabeth's T for Tuesday and the T-Gang.

  4. Happy birthday wishes! I don't like getting older either, people always tell me it's just a number but it's a number I don't want ...lol 😀. The pictures made me smile and I hope you have a lovely time, so nice of your hubby to take you out for the day. Have fun and enjoy! Hugs, Jox

  5. Ah, age... I'm highly motivated to maintain what strength I have, but exercise only goes so far. I've seen ads for those and similar supplements, and I'd try them if I thought they'd really help anything.

    Happy T Tuesday!

  6. Loved the pictures. Sounds like your hubby treated you well for your birthday. It is just a number but we start feeling it more and more the higher that number gets.
    Happy Tea Day,

  8. Oh, happy, happy Birthday - I´m with you, getting old sucks (my back hurts), but as my FIL says: Get old or die, so... get old! :-)

Sweet of your Hubby, too, what he did to sweeten the day!

  14. Happy birthday! I totally agree. Just turned 70 in March. Don't feel like it in my head but my body disagrees--LOL! Have fun on your picnic. :)

  16. Happy birthday, Nicole. I'm sure your birthday picnic was far better than my birthday meal. And you even know who prepared yours. I've heard good things about Prevagen, but like you, I would forget to take it.

Age is just a number, and mine is unlisted. I think you are as old as you feel and you always seem ready to face each and every day. Again, happy birthday, dear. Thanks for sharing your birthday with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

  17. Maybe instead of thinking of it as getting old, think of it like the Gamers do. You’re not getting old, you’re leveling up.Happy Birthday! 💐🧁

  19. Happy Birthday , that’s my number on my next birthday, not good is it, ha,ha, in my head I’m much younger but since the first lockdown I feel my body has slowed down not being able to do what we would normally do.
My sons make comments too, always done to cheer me up, not!!
    Have a lovely birthday

  20. Happy birthday! 69 is a good age. But 70 is even better! (You guessed it: I'm 70)
Yes, the body slows down, but keep going! 'Use it or lose it' they say.
May I just say that you have a wonderful husband.
    Happy T-Day (belated),
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  25. Happy B-Day and T-Day. Love our AI girls - they are all fun. Your hubby is super thoughtful and sweet. I love the idea of a picnic and, with cake, you can't go wrong! I feel the same as you about age, but if you are still dancing and going on picnics and creating, you are really doing the great things in life.

But hey, this way... You're (kinda) celebrated more than just once per year, lol! 😜 Think you know there's so many of us who are glad we know you and that you exist.

Hope you get to live a long and enjoyable life, Nicole! 💋
