Paint Party Friday 11/15/13

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Paint Party Friday. Since I have been so busy this week I am showing something old. When I actually had a painting studio my choice of paints was oils. It is what I was brought up on. Sitting in my Nanny's art gallery in the back room studio painting what ever came to mind. Hours of fun and feeling so grown up having "real" artists telling me how good I was. I think I was 5 or 6 years old then. So not only does oil painting bring back lovely memories,
it is a paint that just works for me.
I did this painting just before I met Mike so some 33 year ago. EEEKKKK!!!!
Hope you enjoy it
Thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting this weekly event. Please stop by to say hello to them and to visit the other wonderful artists.

  9. So soft and pretty, I love it. I always admire oil paintings...would love to try using oils but I always think I'm too impatient with the long drying time!

  21. I absolute adore your piece. It's gorgeous! I used to worked on oils long time ago, then I discovered acrylics about 10 years ago and I have not let them go. I just missed the flow of the oil paint on the canvas.

    Have a wonderful day!
