PAINT PARTY FRIDAY I'M BACK

Hi Everyone!

It has been awhile since I have joined in with Eva and Kristen for Paint Party Friday. I was hoping to have a new piece finished but with all that has been going on with me I choose to show an older piece. This is "The Monk," painted with oils in my Grandmother's art studio/classroom when I was very young. I think I was about 11 or 12 years old when this was done. I am still very attached to these colors and the shapes 50 years later.
A huge thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting Paint Party Friday. Be sure to visit their site to see who else has joined in the fun.

  1. This is an amazing piece for an 11 or 12 year old, especially because clothes are not easy to do. Blessings!

  2. You had a very 'good eye' as a child. The colours and shapes work well together as does the composition. No wonder you are still attatched to this one :)
