Just a note. I am keeping the OWOH on top of my blog so be sure to scroll down for regular posts. Also thanks to everyone who is visiting and leaving such nice comments!

Hi Everyone!
Just a few days ago I read about the One World One Heart giveaway. For any of you who know who I am, giveaways are right at home with me. So when I read about this I was all in. This is the fourth annual One World One Heart giveaway. People from all over the world have joined in to introduce themselves. It is a way to get to know people and to possibly find new cyber friends and of course win some great prizes. So please feel free to view my past blogs and read my bio to see who I am. Now if you would like to be eligible to win this beautiful beaded gourd then all you have to do is leave a comment. This giveaway is strictly for the One World One Heart giveaway (not my monthly comment contest) Be sure to click on the OWOH link to be able to view other participants blogs.

Now for the ( hhm cough cough) rules LOL

The OWOH giveaway begins today Jan. 25th and will end Feb. 14 with the announcing of my winner on Feb. 15. My Beadwright staff will choose the winner! So come in make yourself at home and be sure to leave a comment. Good luck everyone!!!

The Prize

In the mid 1990s I was visiting my mom, in Cave Jct, OR. She had been weaving the tops of gourds with pine needles and grasses. They were beautiful. My brains tends to bead its way through life, so as I was admiring mom's art I knew I could BEAD GOURDS. Wow that little trip lead me to doing more that just beading the tops of gourds and even writing an instructional book on the subject. Here is one of my designs. The gourds is cut, cleaned, and then waxed in gold. This does not come off on your hands. I then actually bead right through the gourd. Not all of my bead gourds are lined, however this one is lined with black fabric.
