NICOLE'S BEADBACKING SALE NBB

Hi Everyone

It is Friday and it looks like the sun wants to come out today.  We have had 10 straight days of dark, overcast and rain. Uuuhhhgggg.............. I am feeling better  and the sun is out so it is a great day right?

I wanted to share, that over the last month or so, we at Beadwright have discontinued two colors in our Nicole's BeadBacking. This has allowed us to drop our prices on the 12x9 inch size from $3.00 a sheet to $2.75 a sheet. I like being able to pass on the savings to all of my customers. However, let's go one step further. From now through June 15, 2013 you can purchase any of the 14  vibrant beautiful  colors of Nicole's BeadBacking (NBB) in the 12x9 inch sheets for just $2.00 a sheet! That is any color for just $2.00. The best part is that the prices are already marked down, no coupons to mess with. Both in our Beadwright Etsy store and our Beadwright website. Just put Nicole's BeadBacking in the shopping cart and check out. Ease and convenience, that is what I like.

Remember that Nicole's BeadBacking is not just for beading. You can  bead on, sew on, glue on, paint on, and design on. You can make hand bags, dolls, puppets, cut outs, journal books, book marks, and all the jewelry you can think up. You can graph colors together for color specific art projects run it through the printer, or cut 3-D shapes for multimedia art project. You can make greeting cards of all kinds. If you can think of it you can probably create it with Nicole's BeadBacking. Make matting for photographs and art. Last but not least layering your bead embroidery is the easiest with Nicole's BeadBacking. Perfect every time.

SWAROVSKIT RIVOLIS MAKE IT ALL BETTER

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for all the get well and feel better comments and emails. I know quite a few of my dear readers have had as much or even more troubles as I have. It is strange that I never thought I would be sick and this out of sorts at my age. I thought I would always be strong, walking, hiking, taking on the world as I have done all my life. The powers that be have a different idea of that and I DON'T like it at all. LOL
So the other day when I got an order dropped at my door I was delighted to see all the Swarovski Rivolis. I mean... really how can one be sad when you have Rivolis to play with. Even with no sun shinning on them the color and depths of them bring a happiness.

Today is also my Son's birthday. OMG I have middle aged kids. LOL
He is 44 years today.

Happy Birthday Son

PAINT PARTY FRIDAY CAR ART

Hi Everyone!

Haven't been on line much but thought I would get myself on Paint Party Friday. This is a wonderful event that is put on by Eva and Kristin. They both do a great job and I thank them very much. Be sure to stop by their blog, leave a comment and check out the other artists.
This again is old art that I draw in the car while Mike and I are on road trips. Some is good some is silly some is just doodling around. In any case please take a look and leave your thoughts.

Just making faces. We were in Nebraska when I drew these.

Don't really know where this came from just board I think. LOL

Another one that just seem to evolve as we drove. LOL

TOOTH EXTRACTION

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have not been around. Remember when I blogged saying that I couldn't wait for 2012 to end because 2013 was going to be the best year ever?
WELLLLL for me it is not. It is a worse continuation of 2012. Every month this year some horrible medical situation has come up. Including surgery.  I try to make light of it and joke around but it is really taking it's toll.  This week?? I cracked a tooth. REALLYYYYYY????
(Dental insurance? NO)
It was in the evening so I called the dentist first thing the next morning. They got me in and of course had to extract the tooth. Did it come out easily???
Hellll nooo!!!
Why would it? After some work trying to drill it into pieces it finally all came out. I paid the bill of $350.00. I was then given an estimate of replacing the gap with a bridge, (are all of you sitting down?)  $4,500, yes you read that correctly. Four thousand five hundred dollars. I came home my face full of Novocain laughing at the insane idea of a tooth replacement costing this much money. I don't know where all of you are but I certainly CAN NOT afford to do this. The thought of it sends me into a panic. LOL I am calling some other places to see if I can get the cost down.

So that is where I have been

I want to thank all of you for listening to me moan and groan.

PAINT PARTY FRIDAY

Hi Everyone!
If you follow me at all you know that create "car art" it is simple drawings that I do while driving from point A to point B. Some of you have asked how I do this with all the holes, bumps, and well just plain terrible roads. Sometimes it is not so easy. I draw holding the tablet of paper up. I don't lay it on my lap. I draw between chuck holes and if we are in the city I love red lights. LOL Mike will warn me if he sees a big dip or curve in the road. It's actually fun and a challenge. There is a lot of erasing.  So on my birthday trip to my mom's last week this is what I got done. I have a connection to this face. I have others that are similar. Hope you enjoy
A big thank you to Eva and Kristen for there continual hard work to keep Paint Party Friday on the cyber waves. Be sure to stop by to see all of the very talented artists.

Ohhh and my scanner went out so this is a terrible shot from my camera

OK so I decided to show a few more "car art" pieces
These are older and scanned. They show up so much better that way.

Be inspired and create from your heart
